7 Romantic Hairstyles You'll Fall In Love With

[As published on Emmagem.com HERE]

Three more days to go until Vday! If you’re attached, don’t fall for Valentine’s Day dining ‘scam’s that make your date spend an unnecessary amount of $$$. If you’re single, celebrate with your girlfriends and have lots of fun! Dress up this year with these effortlessly easy hairstyles:

Tousled bob: Spritz volumising hairspray close to your roots, and massage your scalp to pump up the volume. Warm a pea-sized amount of wax on your palms, and finger-comb to style.
Wavy bob: Start with clean, dry hair. Apply a tiny bit of heat-protecting serum, and tong the ends of your hair with a curling iron, in random directions. Gently rake your fingers through to loosen the curls, and finish with hairspray.

Vintage pouf: Backcomb the top section of your hair, and pin it up into a pouf. If you have fine or thin hair, use a sponge insert (available at Chamelon for around RM5.90) to create a bigger pouf. Smooth away tangles with a shine serum, and hold the look with hairspray.
Braided boho-chic: The bohemian look is great for day-long outings as you don’t have to worry about oily roots. Make two braids on each side, at the base of your scalp, close to the neck. Cross both braids over each other and pin at the nape of you neck.

Wavy side-pony: Section your fringe and clip it up. Curl the rest of your hair with a curling tong and finger-comb for a more natural look. Tie it up into a side ponytail. Unclip your fringe, and curl the entire section towards your face. Finger-comb, and you’re done.
Va-va-voom volume: This will go great with that cute babydoll dress! Spray your roots with volumizing hairspray, then flip your hair over and massage your scalp well. This will make your hair more volumized. Use a curling tong to create soft waves, and finish with a slim satin hairband.
Multi-braid beauty: Tie two small braids (1-inch wide) on each side of your head. Secure the ends with elastic bands. Bring all your hair to one side and join the braids with your hair, forming a thicker braid. Secure the ends and loosen the braid for a windswept look.
