Xmas 2013 Beauty Gift Guide

[As published on Emmagem.com HERE]
For girls who are absolutely obsessed with beauty products, Christmas is the best time of the year. Not only are there stunning limited-edition collections to splurge on, but also gift sets that offer you more than your money’s worth!
This year, the sheer number of choices are guaranteed to mind-boggle, and probably set you back a couple hundred Ringgit (or more). Personally, I think Christmas 2013 is way more interesting than last year’s, which was a letdown, probably due to the poor circumstances of the economy.
It’s good to see some of my favourite brands bouncing back, so here’s a guide for Emmagem readers, with items personally handpicked by the Emmagem team. We all love beauty products too! J
Hurry, before they’re all sold out!

For the Makeup Lover
Dior
The French powerhouse sticks to its iconic gold tones yet again this year, but ups the ante with a selection of divine eyeshadow palettes. The star of the collection, however, is a gold compact containing powder that’s infused with mother-of-pearl.

Kanebo
This highly-coveted collector’s item has been a firm favourite since 1991! Each year, Kanebo releases a limited number of a new design, which always features a goddess or an angel on the top of the compact. The latest one showcases the Angel of Love.

Laura Mercier
Just like tiny baked delicacies encased in a box, we can’t help but fall in love with these intensely pigmented shades. However, remember to handle with care!

Chanel
This year’s Chanel Christmas collection might not be as attractive as the others, but what it lacks in terms of packaging, it makes up for with fail-proof formulas that die-hard fans know and love.

Guerlain
Guerlain goes for a younger, more upbeat perspective, which is rarely seen from the brand as it usually deviates towards luxe, opulent finishings. Neon touches on the lipsticks and a wacky design on the compact – we LIKEY!
